About Dusty

Hi, I’m Dusty.
I build slowly, intuitively, and from the inside out.
I created Unruly Steward for people who are tired of abandoning themselves in the name of doing it “right.”

I believe your body is wise, even when you don’t yet understand what it’s saying.
I believe discomfort isn’t a problem to be fixed—it’s often a message trying to get through.
I believe you don’t need a better rulebook. You need a deeper relationship with yourself.
I believe there’s a way to live that doesn’t require squeezing yourself into systems that were never made for you.

I’ve studied somatic nutrition, Internal Family Systems, cuddle therapy, community-based social work, boundary work, and nervous system healing. I’ve taken university psych classes and learned more from plants, grief, and burnouts than any degree program ever offered me.

Unruly Steward is where I bring all of that together—not as a method, but as a relationship.
A way of seeing.
A practice of pattern recognition, gentle disruption, and listening like it matters.

This isn’t a place for fixing you.
It’s a place for remembering who you already are—and learning to hear the signals you’ve been taught to ignore.

You don’t have to be spiritual. You don’t have to be body literate. You don’t even have to know why you’re here.
If something about this work whispers “stay”… you’re welcome to.

I don’t have a five-step plan.
But I do have space.
And I trust that if you’re here, you’re already listening.
